ACS’s Josh Donlan is awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship. Edward Hirsch, the president of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, announced that in its eighty-sixth annual competition for the United States and Canada the Foundation has awarded 180 Fellowships to artists, scientists, and scholars.  The successful candidates were chosen from a group of some 3,000 applicants. Josh Donlan is invited to speak on rewilding at the UNESCO International Year of Biodiversity Science Policy Conference in Paris (25-29 January). He co-chaired the committee on the statement and recommendations from the conference for the Conference of the Parties to the CBD to be held in Nagoya, Japan in October.
